CONTESTED PARTIAL
Recorded sources
1 source for · 1 against

Counts group repeated records of the same source within each side. They do not measure evidence strength or source independence.

Is it true that Kamikaze pilots volunteered for their missions?

Partly. One reference work describes student pilots eagerly volunteering when asked, while a peer-reviewed article disputes the widespread belief that kamikaze pilots were recruited on a voluntary basis, noting most were noncommissioned officers. Neither source fully settles whether kamikaze pilots volunteered for their missions.
