Is it true that sonic weapons can be used to incapacitate people?

Yes. A Wikipedia reference and a peer-reviewed narrative review both state that sonic weapons can injure or incapacitate people, with the review reporting infrasound attacks that caused soldiers to faint and vomit. Other sources describe sound used as a weapon or as an incapacitating technology under development, but give less direct detail.
