CONTESTED PARTIAL
Recorded sources
7 sources for · 3 against

Counts group repeated records of the same source within each side. They do not measure evidence strength or source independence.

Is it true that eczema is associated with food allergies in children?

Partly. Several reviews and cohort studies report that childhood eczema/atopic dermatitis co-occurs with or precedes food allergy, including an estimated 30% of infants with severe atopic dermatitis developing food allergy. Other studies measuring eczema and food allergy together found no association between food allergy and the exposures examined, so the evidence covers the link only in part and is mixed.
