Is it true that saltwater crocodiles are the largest living reptiles?

Yes. Multiple reference works and a peer-reviewed article state that the saltwater crocodile is the largest living reptile, with several giving its size as over 6 meters. A few sources only call it the largest crocodilian or largest species, which supports the claim less directly.
