Is it true that Tom Cruise actually scaled the outside of the Burj Khalifa tower?

No. A Wikipedia article on the Burj Khalifa records that Alain "Spiderman" Robert scaled the outside of the tower in 2011, and does not attribute any such climb to Tom Cruise. Other retrieved items mention Cruise or the tower but do not address the climb.
