Is it true that Marco Polo met Kublai Khan during his travels in China in the thirteenth century?
Yes. Multiple reference and scholarly sources state that Marco Polo traveled to China in the thirteenth century and served or met Kublai Khan, including accounts that he reached Kublai's palace and worked for him for years. A few items only confirm the journey to China during Kublai's reign without describing a personal meeting.
