Is it true that koalas attack people by dropping on them from trees?

No. A Wikipedia article on the drop bear states that the attacking, tree-dropping koala is a hoax and that real koalas are typically docile herbivores, which settles the claim in the negative. The other koala-related items concern thermoregulation and necropsy causes of death, not attacks on people.
