Decongestant nasal sprays such as oxymetazoline increase heart rate.

CONTESTED PARTIAL
Recorded sources

Counts group repeated records of the same source within each side. They do not measure evidence strength or source independence.

Is it true that decongestant nasal sprays such as oxymetazoline increase heart rate?

Partly. The retrieved items only partially address the claim: one review notes nasal decongestants may cause systemic cardiovascular effects, and a trial record notes oral decongestants can elevate blood pressure, while a Cochrane review of oral decongestants found little to no heart-rate effect with very uncertain evidence. None of the items directly measures heart rate after oxymetazoline nasal spray use.
