Counts group repeated records of the same source within each side. They do not measure evidence strength or source independence.

Is it true that days on Earth are getting shorter?

Partly. One source reports that over the past decade the average length of day has mostly been shrinking, while another states that if Earth's spin slows over time, days will lengthen. Neither settles the general claim about days on Earth getting shorter.
