Peer-reviewed research and scientific references report that melting polar ice and glaciers drive rising global sea levels, which directly increases the global sea and ocean surface area.
When water warms, these chunks of ice melt and methane is released. As the ocean’s water temperature increases, the rate at which clathrates melt is increasing, releasing even more methane. This leads to increased levels of methane in the atmosphere, which further accelerates the rate of global warming. This is an example of the positive feedback loop that is leading to the rapid rate of increase of global temperatures. Scientists have geological evidence of the consequences of long-ago climate change. Modern-day phenomena such as retreating glaciers and melting polar ice cause a continual rise in sea level. Meanwhile, changes in climate can negatively affect organisms. Global warming has been associated with at least one planet-wide extinction event during the geological past. The Permian extinction event occurred about 251 million years ago toward the end of the roughly 50-million-year-long geological time span known as the Permian period. This geologic time period was one of the three warmest periods in Earth’s geologic history.
Climate change is a global challenge, directly affecting ecosystems, environmental resources, and human life. One of its consequences is the problem of sea and ocean surface area, sea level is increasing day by day. In the long term, global mean sea level will continue to change continuously. The birth of the industrial revolution has made the Earth warmer and warmer, followed by many different causes leading to the rapid increase of global sea level: melting ice, expansion of the sea. water and changes in the Earth's climate system, costing the global economy trillions of dollars with many development consequences.

Global warming comes from two groups: objective causes and subjective causes. Global
warming by industrial emissions; Unsustainable use of groundwater, blocking of water in artificial
lakes, industrial production, deforestation, the use of harmful gases are the main reasons for high
CO2 emissions. Moreover, melting ice increases global warming. This is because ice reflects more
sunlight than water, so in the absence of sea ice, the ocean would absorb more heat and become
warmer. In addition, as the earth's temperature warms, the sea water will expand with the
temperature, causing the water level to rise.

Global warming has been identified as the main cause of melting glaciers, thereby causing sea

The rapid increase in sea surface area and sea level leads to heavy losses in all aspects:
- Environment: The number of extreme natural phenomena such as heavy rain, thunderstorms,
floods, droughts, forest fires, tornadoes, heat waves or severe cold is increasing; populations of
special-use and rare species of flora and fauna are increasingly depleted and in danger of
extinction;...

- Economy: Reduce the economic growth of many countries. By 2030, the global economy could
lose $2 trillion due to climate change. According to data from the UK NGO Oxfam, developing
economies could lose $1700 billion a year by 2050 (CTV Lê Ngọc, 2021).
- Society: Saltwater intrusion in coastal areas narrows the agricultural land area and increases the
sea surface area, greatly affecting the labor structure in society (Nguyễn Thị Lan, 2019).

causes leading to the rapid increase of global sea level: melting ice, expansion of the sea. water
and changes in the Earth's climate system, costing the global economy trillions of dollars with
many development consequences.
To sum up, humanity must collaborate to find effective solutions to climate change in this
century. Building an environmental culture with the participation of businesses (entrepreneur s),
using 3D creativity mechanism will be the key to this problem (Vuong, Q. H., 2022; Q.-H. Vuong,
2021; Q. H. Vuong, 2021) . Despite the fact that the entire world has become more aware of the
consequences of climate change, there is no way to guarantee the future without the combined
efforts and serious actions of the world’s leading nations.

There is still some uncertainty about the full volume of glaciers and ice caps on Earth, but if all of them were to melt, global sea level would rise approximately 70 meters (approximately 230 feet), flooding every coastal city on the planet.
